The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces has released a shocking report that reveals the extent of Russia’s losses since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. According to the report, Russia has lost an astonishing 1,025,260 troops, including 1,050 casualties suffered over the past day alone.
**A Grim Toll: Vehicles and Equipment Destroyed**
But the losses don’t stop there. The report also highlights the massive destruction of Russian military equipment, with a staggering 10,990 tanks, 22,953 armored fighting vehicles, 54,148 vehicles and fuel tanks, 29,921 artillery systems, 1,428 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,191 air defense systems, 420 airplanes, 340 helicopters, 43,609 drones, 28 ships and boats, and even one submarine all destroyed or damaged.
**International Support for Ukraine Remains Strong**
Despite Russia’s best efforts to intimidate and control the situation, international support for Ukraine remains unwavering. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has commended outgoing U.S. Army General Christopher G. Cavoli for his contributions to modernizing NATO’s collective defense and bolstering support for Ukraine.
**Ukraine Prepares for Future Challenges**
In a bid to prepare for future challenges, Ukraine is working on strengthening its military capabilities. The Strategic Industries Minister, Herman Smetanin, has hailed the relocation of drone production as a “unique case of international cooperation for the Ukrainian defense industry.”
**Russia’s Desperate Measures**
Meanwhile, Russia is becoming increasingly desperate in its attempts to regain control. Reports suggest that Russian forces are using Shahed drones in large numbers, with commander Robert “Magyar” Brovdi warning that strikes could reach 1,000 per day.
**International Community Responds**
The international community is responding to Ukraine’s needs with urgency and solidarity. Berlin is reportedly considering purchasing up to 2,500 GTK Boxer armored vehicles and up to 1,000 Leopard 2 battle tanks. The U.S. has reviewed its components supplied to Ukraine but has not halted assistance.

As the conflict continues, a humanitarian crisis unfolds. Fires broke out across Kyiv overnight on July 4, injuring at least 23 people and hospitalizing 14 of them. President Volodymyr Zelensky has appealed for support and solidarity from the international community.
