Russia’s Losses in Ukraine
Russia has lost a lot of troops and equipment since its invasion of Ukraine started on February 24, 2022. According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has lost:
* Almost one million soldiers (898,070)
The Ukrainian military also reported that Russia has lost many tanks, vehicles, and other equipment. Some of these losses include:
* Tanks: 10,364
* Armored fighting vehicles: 21,523
* Other vehicles: 41,003
* Artillery systems: 24,704
In addition to the troops and equipment, Russia’s air power has also been affected. The Ukrainian military reported that Russia has lost:
* Airplanes: 370
* Helicopters: 331
* Drones: 29,716
* Ships and boats: 28
* One submarine
