**Russia’s Losses in Ukraine**
Russia has lost a huge number of troops and equipment since it invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia has lost 855,480 troops.
These numbers are based on a report from the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, released on February 14. The report also shows that Russian forces have suffered 1,200 casualties in just one day.

In addition to the huge number of troops lost, Russia has also lost many pieces of equipment. This includes:

* One submarine
