Russia’s Losses in Ukraine Continue to Rise
Russia has lost 834,670 troops in Ukraine since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. This number includes 1,670 casualties over just one day, according to a report by Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
The losses for Russia go beyond just human life. The country has also lost many vehicles and equipment, including:

* 20,597 armored fighting vehicles
* 35,366 vehicles and fuel tanks
* 22,395 artillery systems
* 1,264 multiple launch rocket systems
* 1,050 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 331 helicopters
* 23,456 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
Recent Drone Strikes in Russia
Drone strikes were reported across several Russian regions, including Nizhny Novgorod, Smolensk, Tver, and Bryansk. These strikes caused fires and prompted air defense responses.
