**Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Promises Full Restoration of Diplomatic Relations with Georgia**
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has said that Russia is ready to fully restore diplomatic relations with Georgia. He made the statement in an interview with Russian newspaper Izvestia.
Galuzin praised the Georgian Dream government for its “pragmatic” approach towards Russia. He said that this line of thinking had led to a series of cooperative decisions between the two countries, including the resumption of air links and visa-free travel.
**No Conditions Set**
According to Galuzin, Russia is not setting any conditions for the restoration of diplomatic relations with Georgia. He stated that Russia prefers not to impose conditions on its neighbors, but will take necessary steps when needed.
Galuzin emphasized that Moscow is willing to continue developing pragmatic and mutually beneficial cooperation with Georgia. He also said that Russia views itself as a key economic partner for Georgia.
**Development of Relations**
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister believes that consistent development of relations between the two countries will eventually lead to full normalization and restoration of diplomatic relations.
This is not the first time that Moscow has signaled its readiness to restore diplomatic relations with Georgia. Previous statements were made by other top officials, including Sergey Lavrov and Maria Zakharova.
