**Ukrainian Forces Still Rely on Old Methods**

Contrary to what you might think, Ukraine’s army is not using drones to take out Russian tanks. Instead, they are using something much older and more effective: anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and mines.

According to a report by Forbes, most of the 100+ Russian vehicles that have been destroyed in recent weeks were first disabled by these old-fashioned methods. Only later did Ukrainian forces use their drones – or rather, FPV (First-Person View) drones – to finish them off.

The reason for this approach is simple: ATGMs and mines are more effective at taking out armored vehicles than drones. The American-made Javelin missile and the Ukrainian Stuhna-P are just two examples of the powerful anti-tank missiles being used by Ukraine’s army.
