**Russian Attacks on Ukraine’s Sumy Oblast Injure 5 People**

On February 12, Russian forces attacked 13 communities in the Sumy Oblast of Ukraine. The Sumy Oblast Military Administration reported that five people were injured during the attacks.

The targeted communities included Sumy, Bezdryk, Verkhnya Syrovatka, Yunakivka, Khotin, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Krolevets, Esman, Druzhba, Seredyna-Buda, and Svesy. Russian forces fired 104 times, causing 186 explosions.

The attacks damaged residential buildings, a school, and farm structures. The hardest-hit areas were Yunakivka and Esman, where people were injured by drones and artillery fire. In Verkhnya Syrovatka, a drone strike left one person injured and destroyed several homes and an educational institution.

**Residents of Border Communities Face Multiple Attacks**

The town of Velyka Pysarivka, located near the Ukraine-Russia border, experienced the most attacks with 86 explosions recorded in the area. The Sumy Oblast borders Russian territories, making its residents vulnerable to repeated attacks.
