The European Union has a new envoy for talks between Kosovo and Serbia. The EU’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, welcomed the new representative, Peter Sorensen.

The EU High Representative also mentioned that the previous envoy, Miroslav Lajcak, did important work. Kallas believes that what Lajcak did will help in re-engaging the two countries in talks.
