Since 1992, the European Union has allocated over 2 billion euros in grants for Georgia, with every invested euro aimed at improving the daily lives of the Georgian population, according to information disseminated by the EU Representation in Georgia on social media.
As stated in the announcement, for over 30 years, the EU has been helping Georgian citizens benefit from new economic and social opportunities through various programs.
“Since 1992, the European Union has allocated over 2 billion euros in grants for Georgia, funding new infrastructure, job creation, education, and environmental protection. Every invested euro was aimed at improving the daily lives of the Georgian population, from modernizing roads, hospitals, and schools to empowering local communities, entrepreneurs, and young innovators. For over 30 years, through programs such as TRACECA, EU4Business, ENPARD, and EU4Youth, the EU has been helping Georgian citizens access new economic and social opportunities,” the disseminated information states.
