This was a Russian speech, even at the level of terms, the complete international isolation of the Dream regime as been formalized, – the leader of the Coalition for Change Elene Khoshtaria writes in a letter sent from Rustavi prison, which was posted on her social network Facebook. In the letter, Khoshtaria responds to Mikheil Kavelashvili’s speech at the UN.
According to Khoshtaria, “the regime is condemned” in America, the UN, the European Union, Britain and European capitals, and the aforementioned “achievement” should be crowned by the removal of the Georgian Dream from power.
“Two things can be said about the speech of Ivanishvili’s representative at the UN and the visit of Ivanishvili’s foreign portfolio there.
This was a Russian speech, even at the level of terms. Look at the Russian foreign policy documents and you will see that their main strategic task is to establish a multipolar agenda, behind which in reality Russia’s imperial ambitions are hidden. For Putin, the collapse of the Soviet Union is a tragedy of the 20th century, i.e. for Georgia, the main task is not multipolarity, but the strength of a Western, free and peaceful civilization.
But no, Ivanishvili is guided by the Russian foreign strategy. There is a comical copy of Russian speeches right there – “We are ready for dialogue if they do not speak to us in the language of blackmail”. Who cares? It is simply comical.
Scroll through Lavrov’s speeches, they are one after the other, but the obnoxious Russia is still a nuclear state. Although it looks extremely weak in the war with Ukraine, it is still nuclear. But who cares about Ivanishvili?!
The complete international isolation of the Dream regime has been formalized.
This regime is condemned in America, the UN, the European Union, Britain and European capitals. Even the OSCE could not be brought here. This is the merit of the Georgian people, precisely for these 300 days of intransigence. Otherwise, the Dream would have been able to normalize the situation to some extent. This achievement should be preserved and crowned by their removal. The next step in delegitimization should be their removal!
Therefore, proudly and to the end!”, Elene Khoshtaria writes in the letter.
