In this type of struggle, “now or never” is wrong; the right approach is: today, tomorrow, until the end! The result comes through resilience and consistency, stated Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the “Coalition for Change,” in a statement.
Khoshtaria also stated that the October 4 elections did not take place, and Kakha Kaladze has joined the ranks of the illegitimate.
“The elections did not take place!
At another critical moment, the Georgian people showed everyone where the truth lies and where the lies are, where Tbilisi’s streets are full, and where the so-called polling stations were empty. Kakha Kaladze has joined the ranks of the illegitimate.
Solidarity with the new political prisoners!
The criminal gang will not succeed in discrediting the protest.
As for the protest and continuing the fight, when a difficult moment arises, when we are dissatisfied or angry and fall into despair looking for someone to blame, we draw lessons and continue the fight. Despair weakens us.
The protest does not have a single leader, whether an individual or a party; the protest is a people’s movement. However, we politicians have a responsibility and a role—what we must do:
· Support and protect citizens and activists.
· Cooperate.
· Work on the international front.
· Create a political alternative.
In this type of struggle, ‘now or never’ is wrong; the right approach is: ‘today, tomorrow… until the end!’
The result comes through resilience and consistency, and it will ultimately come.
Let us look forward and take care of each other!
Our resilience is not in moving from success to failure but in getting up after stumbling and continuing the fight!
Until the end!” reads the statement by Elene Khoshtaria, issued from Rustavi Women’s Prison.
Elene Khoshtaria: Despair weakens us! Our resilience lies in getting up after stumbling and continuing the fight! In this type of struggle, “now or never” is wrong; the right approach is: today, tomorrow, until the end!
