Matikashvili also added that Okhanashvili will fulfill an important function in the capacity of an advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office.
“Anri Okhanashvili explained the reason for his resignation in detail, in great detail. He remains on guard of the country’s security. In this regard, the function of the Prime Minister’s advisor is extremely important. The analytical experience and high professionalism that Anri Okhanashvili possesses and his background will be useful to our country.
As for the new candidacy for the head of the State Security Service, Mamuka Mdinaradze needs no introduction! He knows our country well – he is a high-level professional, has considerable experience working in investigative structures, and is an outstanding patriot of his country.
