**Giorgi Gakharia Faces New Questions Over Controversial Checkpoint Decision**
In a dramatic turn of events, Georgian politician Giorgi Gakharia is set to face the investigative commission once again. According to MP Davit Matikashvili of the Georgian Dream party, Gakharia’s initial explanation for opening the checkpoint was that it was necessary to prevent further provocations by the occupation forces. However, this claim was soon exposed as a “big lie.” A local resident revealed during an investigative commission session that a forest area had been occupied after the Chorchana incident, leading to a significant shift in the occupation line.
