“This information is a shock to me; it’s simply unimaginable and hard to believe that a person would do this from prison, and that I am being summoned as a witness – this is complete shock.
I have never had any connection with Kemoklidze. I do not know him. I first saw his photo when the SSS statement was disseminated. When he was dismissed, his surname didn’t even catch my attention.
I want everything to be clear. Any kind of interference like this could be assessed as influence on me. The rest interests me too – what questions will there be?” stated Davit Jandieri.
For information, at this moment, Davit Jandieri, the lawyer for former head of the Co-Investment Fund Giorgi Bachiashvili, is being interrogated at the Tbilisi City Court in the presence of a magistrate judge.
For reference, POST TV disseminated information that Davit Jandieri was allegedly the intermediary in a deal between Gia Kemoklidze and Giorgi Bachiashvili detained by the SSS, to which Davit Jandieri responded by calling it a “dirty and commissioned” card. As Jandieri noted, the aforementioned information serves to discredit him.
