Denmark’s Ambassador to Georgia, Anne Toft Sørensen, is speaking out about a woman who has been arrested and held without trial.
Mzia Amaglobeli is one of many people in Georgia facing serious charges. She could be in prison for up to 7 years. The European Union wants her released.
The ambassador met with journalists and lawyers to talk about the situation. They are all calling for Mzia’s release, along with others who have been arrested unfairly.
