We believe that the key to victory lies in dismantling the regime, not in creating excessive expectations at any given moment. This dismantling will come through the constant isolation, non-cooperation, non-recognition of the government, increased international pressure, and, most importantly, continuous protests, including strengthening the Rustaveli protest hub. Today, at the usual time, we will meet on Rustaveli, reads the statement by the “Coalition for Change.”
According to them, the sole source of destabilization, crisis, and violence in Georgia is Ivanishvili and his oppressive system, which has resulted in new political prisoners in the country today.
“The October 4 Russian special operation was rejected by the majority of the pro-Western political spectrum, the international community, and, most importantly, the Georgian people. Even according to the falsified data of the Russian regime, voter turnout in the capital alone was 300,000 lower than in the 2024 elections. The Russian farce failed!
On October 4, alongside empty polling stations, Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue were filled with people fighting for freedom. On the 311th day of continuous protests, over 100,000 people came out in Tbilisi with the main message – fight to the end!
The sole source of destabilization, crisis, and violence in Georgia is Ivanishvili and his oppressive system. Because of this, the country now has new political prisoners.
For us, the ‘Coalition for Change,’ the decisive fight against this regime has been ongoing uninterrupted since the rigged elections of October 26. Alongside love for the country, a vision for change, and dedication, this fight carries the greatest responsibility toward our people.
That is why we rejected parliamentary mandates, the budget funding obtained through rigged elections, and participation in the illegitimate parliament’s ‘homeland betrayal’ commission, which is why every single leader of the coalition is in prison, and why we did not participate in the October 4 farce called ‘local elections.’
We have not declared a final battle; we have declared a fight to the end, until victory! Every day until Bidzina Ivanishvili’s defeat, we will stand where we have stood for the past 311 days.
Today, at the usual time, we will meet on Rustaveli,” the statement reads.
