**Inflation in Serbia to Stay Within Target Range**

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) says inflation in the country will continue to rise within a three percent target band over the next two years. This means prices are likely to go up, but not too quickly.

According to NBS Vice Governor Zeljko Jovic, inflation should start to approach the middle of this target range by the end of 2025. He said that tight money conditions and lower global energy prices will help keep inflation under control.

The NBS also expects the country’s economy to grow at a faster pace in the future. In 2025, GDP growth is expected to reach four and a half percent. This growth could slow down slightly in 2026 and 2027, but still remain strong.
