Bidzina Ivanishvili Congratulates Mikheil Kavelashvili on Election Victory
Bidzina Ivanishvili, honorary chairman of the “Georgian Dream” party, has congratulated Mikheil Kavelashvili on his election as president by the electoral college.
Ivanishvili believes that with Kavelashvili’s inauguration, efforts to divide and radicalize people will come to an end. He thinks this is a good thing for Georgia.
“I congratulate Mikheil Kavelashvili on being elected President of Georgia,” said Ivanishvili. “I also congratulate our country on having a truly Georgian president.” He believes that with the new president, Georgia’s constitution will be followed and society will become more united.
