**Belgrade Airport Staff Stage Warning Strike**
A group of over 100 employees at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport walked out for an hour on Friday. They were protesting their low salaries and poor working conditions.
The union that organized the strike, called Zajedno (Together), wants the airport to pay its staff a salary that matches the average wage in Belgrade. The work stoppage lasted from 12 pm to 1 pm.
Some employees were not able to join the strike because it is against the law to leave their posts for too long.
