She assured him that Austria would continue to support Serbia’s path towards membership in the European Union. In another move, Meinl-Reisinger expressed admiration for a group of Serbian students who are running a relay marathon from Novi Sad to Brussels. Meinl-Reisinger called their efforts “unbelievably brave” and said she wants to see progress, results, democracy, rule of law, and prospects for the students.
