Archil Gorduladze on the opposition: When they want to look down on other parties, it turns out there are only four of them, and when they want to appear numerous, they multiply and become 8 or 13 – don’t let Zura Girchi and his party or the “Federalists” slip away

No matter what protests they hold or attempts they make to bring chaos to the country, the outcome will be absolute failure because they lack the support of the Georgian people, stated Archil Gorduladze, a deputy from the “Georgian Dream” party, in response to the protest march planned for September 13 by eight opposition coalitions.
In the same context, Gorduladze noted that there is unity between the government and the majority of the population, and “when this synergy exists, an externally controlled agent has no chance of dismantling the country.”
“The number of parties is unclear even within the opposition itself. When they want to participate in elections and form coalitions or look down on other parties, it turns out there are supposedly four of them, and they call themselves capable of crossing the electoral threshold. But when they want to appear numerous, they multiply and become 8, 13, or even 32. Don’t forget Zura Girchi and his party or the ‘Federalists,’ who couldn’t divide positions in ‘European Georgia,’ broke apart, and formed just the day before yesterday.
The fact is that these people are united around one idea – fighting against Georgia’s interests. However, they lack the originality to come up with anything themselves. They do everything according to the guidelines they’re given. If you ask them a question that deviates from their guidelines, they don’t even have the ability to respond. That’s how miserable a state these agents are in!” stated Archil Gorduladze.
