**Former Politician Fined by Anti-Corruption Agency**
Ana Dolidze, a leader of the coalition “For the People – A Strong Georgia,” has been fined by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. She says this is unfair because she never exercised her powers as a member of parliament.
Dolidze explains that her parliamentary mandate was terminated by “Georgian Dream” at her request. Despite not being a member of parliament, she was required to fill out declarations after the elections. However, she did not do so because she had already made it clear that she did not want to be part of the government.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau fined Dolidze for not filling out the declaration. She intends to appeal this fine and defend her interests as a lawyer.
**Background**
Dolidze and her coalition wrote a statement after the elections, protesting against “Georgian Dream” for stealing the vote. Her mandate was terminated shortly after. Despite not being a member of parliament, Dolidze continues to work in international consulting and gives lectures.
