**Ukraine’s Drone Forces Get a Boost: Commander Outlines 100-Day Plan**

In a major move to upgrade Ukraine’s drone capabilities, the newly appointed commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Robert “Madiar” Brovdy, has outlined a comprehensive plan to deploy and modernize the country’s drone systems. According to reports from Texty, Brovdy aims to take the USF to new heights in effectiveness, with a focus on expanding the use of drones in both tactical and operational contexts.

**A New Era for Ukrainian Drones**

Brovdy brings significant experience in business and military service to his new role. Having transitioned from a successful entrepreneur to a frontline commander, he is well-equipped to drive change within the USF. With President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s appointment on June 3, Brovdy has set out to transform the USF into a formidable force that will significantly impact Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

**100-Day Plan: Key Initiatives**

Brovdy has outlined several key initiatives for the next 100 days, aimed at modernizing and expanding the use of drones in Ukrainian military operations. These include:

* **Unification and Standardization**: A new electronic system will be deployed to streamline planning, coordination, command, and reporting across all USF units.
* **Operational Expansion**: The USF will be expanded to operate in tactical and operational depths, with 12 levels of application, from reconnaissance to countering enemy drones.
* **Increased Domestic Production**: Efforts will focus on increasing domestic production of munitions and establishing a unified supply depot for critical components such as StarLink, batteries, EW systems, and FPV parts.
* **Use of Ground Robotic Complexes**: The logistics of munitions, drones, and peripherals will be streamlined using ground robotic complexes.
* **Recruitment and Training**: A unified recruitment campaign and proprietary training network will be established for drone pilots and operators.

**A Unified Approach to Drone Operations**

As part of the reform of the Unmanned Systems Forces, a unified approach is planned to analyze capabilities, operational facts, and effectiveness of actions according to drone models and types of ammunition. This will form the basis for precise planning and efficient real-time supply of units.

**Strategic Depth and Technology Development**

In addition to these initiatives, the use of UAVs at strategic depth will be explored in a separate direction, with details not yet disclosed. Furthermore, the Innovation and Development Center is being transformed to serve the needs of the entire branch of the armed forces, rather than operating at the brigade level.

**A New Era for Ukraine’s Drone Forces**

Brovdy’s 100-day plan aims to propel the USF into a new era of effectiveness, with a focus on expanding the use of drones in both tactical and operational contexts. As Ukraine continues to face challenges from enemy forces, the upgrade and modernization of drone systems will play a critical role in enhancing national defense capabilities.
