The situation in Ukraine remains tense as Russian attacks continue to disrupt the country. Over the past day, regional authorities reported that three people were killed and 27 others injured due to these attacks.
**Ukraine’s Air Force Successfully Intercepts Majority of Drones Launched by Russia**
In a statement, Ukraine’s Air Force reported that they successfully downed 10 out of the 90 drones launched by Russia overnight. This includes Shahed-type attack drones, which are known for their ability to evade air defenses. Additionally, 46 drones were intercepted by electronic warfare or disappeared from radars without causing any damage.
**Russian Drone Attack Claims Life in Sumy Oblast**
A Russian drone attack on the Bilopillia community in Sumy Oblast overnight resulted in one man being killed and a woman injured, according to local authorities. This is just one of several attacks that have occurred across Ukraine in the past day.
**Donetsk Oblast Also Hit by Russian Attacks**
In Donetsk Oblast, Governor Vadym Filashkin reported that one person was killed in the village of Rivne. Thirteen other people suffered injuries in the region over the past day. The full extent of the damage is not yet clear.
**Zaporizhzhia Oblast Attacked with Guided Aerial Bombs**
Russian forces launched a guided aerial bomb attack on the village of Verkhnia Tersa in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, killing one person and injuring another. The attacks also destroyed five houses and damaged 50 more, leaving about 600 homes without electricity.
**Other Areas Hit by Russian Forces**
In addition to these reports, Russian forces have also attacked the Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, injuring two people. In Kherson Oblast, Russian forces targeted 40 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson, resulting in ten people being injured.
