**Tragic Accident on Mount Ushba: Body of Fallen Mountaineer Brought to Mestia**
In a tragic incident, Nikoloz Faliani, a seasoned mountaineer and mountain guide, has lost his life during an expedition on Mount Ushba in the Svaneti region. According to reports from the Emergency Management Service, Faliani fell from a great height while hiking with three other individuals.
The rescue operation was quickly organized by firefighters and rescuers, who worked tirelessly to locate the missing hikers and retrieve the body of the deceased. A helicopter from the Border Police, along with a special response team from the Emergency Management Agency, was dispatched from Tbilisi to assist in the rescue efforts.
**Three Survivors Evacuated Safely**
Miraculously, three of the four individuals who were hiking with Faliani were rescued safely by the responders. They were airlifted off Mount Ushba at an altitude of 3,600 meters using a helicopter, and were subsequently transported to safety.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the rescue team, Nikoloz Faliani was pronounced dead on the mountain. His body has been brought to Mestia for further investigation and processing.
