**Russia’s Aggression Against Ukraine Continues**
Today marks the 1182nd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. Unfortunately, this brutal conflict shows no signs of easing.
**Heavy Fighting Across Ukraine**
Yesterday saw a significant amount of fighting across various parts of Ukraine. The enemy launched air strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements in several regions, using guided aerial bombs and attack drones. In total, there were 177 combat clashes reported over the past day.
The Russian enemy targeted areas in the Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, and other regions with airstrikes, dropping a staggering number of guided aerial bombs and engaging hundreds of attack drones. Their artillery attacks, including those from multiple launch rocket systems, were also numerous, hitting Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.
**Ukrainian Defenders Hold Ground**
Despite the intense fighting, Ukrainian defenders held their ground in many areas. In the Kharkiv direction, they repelled three enemy advances near Vovchansk and Kutkivka. In the Kupyansk direction, they successfully defended against three attacks near Zagryzovye and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, 23 clashes occurred as Ukrainian soldiers thwarted enemy attempts to advance in several areas. The Siversk direction saw four repelled enemy attacks, while the Kramatorsk direction witnessed six unsuccessful enemy advances.
**Ukrainian Forces Repel Enemy Assaults**
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces faced numerous enemy assaults across various fronts. In the Pokrovsky direction alone, they stopped 72 assault actions of the aggressor in several settlements and areas.
In other regions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 attacks by the invaders in the Novopavlivske direction, four attacks in the Orikhiv direction, and one attack in the Prydniprovske direction. In the Kursk direction, they successfully defended against ten enemy attacks.
**Ukrainian Forces Inflict Significant Losses**
The losses suffered by the Russian invaders over the past day were significant, with 1,030 soldiers reported killed or wounded. Ukrainian forces also neutralized a tank, five armored combat vehicles, 58 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, and numerous drones.
These statistics paint a grim picture of Russia’s continued aggression against Ukraine. The world waits with bated breath for an end to this senseless violence.
