**Russian Forces Continue to Attack Ukraine, Killing at Least 2 Civilians and Injuring Dozens**
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched attacks across various regions of Ukraine, leaving a trail of destruction and death in their wake. According to local officials, at least two civilians were killed and 13 others injured in multiple regions.
**Kherson Oblast Bears Brunt of Attacks**
In Kherson Oblast, the worst affected region was hit by intense shelling, drone strikes, and air attacks on over 30 towns and villages. Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported that residential areas, a factory, a cell tower, and railway infrastructure were among the damaged sites. The two people killed and six injured in this region are just the latest victims of Russia’s ongoing aggression.
**Other Regions Also Targeted**
In Kharkiv Oblast, three civilians were wounded in the town of Kupiansk during aerial strikes. Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that over 30 houses and agricultural buildings were damaged in the Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts, as Russia used glide bombs and 14 Shahed-type drones.
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian attacks injured two civilians, according to Governor Vadym Filashkin.
**Sumy and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts Also Affected**
In Sumy Oblast, two civilians were injured, the local administration reported. The region endured 135 Russian strikes targeting 24 settlements, damaging houses, non-residential buildings, and energy infrastructure.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast came under 421 separate Russian attacks, including air strikes, artillery shelling, and drone assaults across 11 settlements. Though homes and vehicles were damaged, no injuries were reported in this region.
**Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Sees Drone Activity**
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, five drones were shot down overnight. Russian forces used FPV (first-person-view) drones to target the Nikopol district and damage houses and infrastructure in the Kryvyi Rih area, though no injuries were reported.
**Ceasefire Proposal Rejected Again**
Russia’s continued attacks on Ukraine come as Moscow rejects an unconditional 30-day ceasefire proposed by Kyiv and its allies. This latest round of violence highlights the need for a genuine peace effort to bring an end to the conflict.
