A video of Kobakhidze briefly interacting with French President Emmanuel Macron was circulated by the pro-government media. The interaction lasted about 15 seconds, and Macron nudged him in the back at the roundtable.
**Georgian Media’s Attempt to Present a Positive Image**
The Georgian Dream government attempted to present Kobakhidze as widely accepted by Western leaders. They shared pictures of face-to-face exchanges between him and other leaders, but these interactions were often brief or limited to small talk.
**Kobakhidze Claimed to Have Spoken with Up to 30 Leaders**
In an interview with Georgian media, Kobakhidze claimed that he had the opportunity to speak with up to 30 leaders at the summit. However, it is unclear how much substance was discussed during these conversations.
**The Event Was Not a Breakthrough for GD Government**
Despite efforts by the Georgian Dream government to present the event as a breakthrough in international isolation, it appears that the actual impact of the EPC summit on the GD’s image was limited. The pro-government media attempted to spin the event as a success, but the reality seems different.
