**Georgian Foreign Minister Meets with European Leaders in Luxembourg**

The foreign minister of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, recently attended the 134th session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Luxembourg. During her visit, she met with several high-ranking officials from European countries.

Another notable meeting was between Botchorishvili and Alain Berset, Secretary General of the Council of Europe. Berset also expressed his concerns about recent developments in Georgia, stating that the country’s alignment with European values had not been positive. He noted that the CoE team in Tbilisi is working on an action plan to support the European aspirations of the Georgian people and to renew the dialogue between political parties.

Ian Borg, Malta’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, expressed his support for Berset’s engagement with Georgia. He emphasized the importance of supporting Georgia and its people in reforming their country and deciding what they want for their future.

**Georgia’s Path Forward**

The next 12 months will be crucial in determining Georgia’s path forward. European leaders are urging the Georgian government to take steps towards democracy, rule of law, and convergence with European values. Berset emphasized that the CoE team is working on a plan to support the European aspirations of the Georgian people and to renew the dialogue between political parties.

Botchorishvili also met with Sabine Monauni, Deputy Prime Minister of Liechtenstein and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Environment, and Culture. The two officials discussed friendly bilateral relations and cooperation between their countries within multilateral formats.

**Occupied Territories**

During her meeting with Monauni, Botchorishvili briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories and underscored the importance of keeping this issue high on the Council of Europe’s agenda.
