But according to Beka Liluashvili, one of the leaders of “Gakharia – For Georgia,” this letter is not meant for Trump or Vance at all. Its real audience is the Georgian public.
Liluashvili points out that the content of Kobakhidze’s letter has been voiced numerous times by Georgian Dream’s hired lobbyists and other messengers, but with a much milder tone. This latest letter is an attempt to appeal directly to Georgians, as if Georgian Dream is pleading for attention from the US government.

The leader of “Gakharia – For Georgia” notes that this letter is just another example of Georgian Dream’s fake “principledness.” He suggests that the real purpose of the letter is to deflect responsibility for their own failures in maintaining relations with the US. By framing themselves as victims of a supposed “deep state” in the US, Georgian Dream hopes to shift the blame and gain public sympathy.
Liluashvili also draws attention to the fact that Mamuka Mdinaradze’s statement about building a “dignified state” rings hollow when you consider the people behind it. He argues that you can’t build a respectable or proud state with undignified people who have no principles, values, and have been sycophants and slaves to every government.

According to Liluashvili, Georgian Dream’s actions are driven by a desire to seize power and illegally grab influence. They have sacrificed the country’s relationship with the West and the US for their party and personal interests. By introducing new lines of propaganda and trying to shift the blame, Georgian Dream is engaging in deception and diversion tactics.
