The EU is also expanding its efforts to counter Russia’s hybrid operations, including propaganda outlets and entities involved in sabotage activities such as cutting underwater cables or disrupting airport and server operations. Additionally, more than 20 entities and individuals spreading disinformation will be sanctioned, as well as 20 judges and prosecutors who have been involved in cases against Russian opposition figures Vladimir Kara-Murza and Alexei Navalny.
