**Russian Forces Reinforced in Ukraine’s Chasiv Yar**

According to Ivan Petrychak, spokesperson for the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the Russian army continues to face difficulties in capturing the city.

The months-long battle for Chasiv Yar has left many residents displaced or killed. As of April 28, only 156 residents remained in the city, according to Ruslan Pryimenko, deputy head of the Chasiv Yar military administration.
