**Day 1171 of Russia’s Aggression Against Ukraine**
Today marks the 1171st day since the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine began. Unfortunately, violence and bloodshed continue to plague the country.
**Russian Attacks Intensify**
Over the past 24 hours, there were a total of 193 combat clashes recorded across various regions in Ukraine. The Russian enemy launched one missile and 18 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, resulting in significant destruction and loss of life. In addition, they employed a wide range of tactics, including over 4,000 attacks, with 67 coming from multiple launch rocket systems, and used an astonishing 2,659 kamikaze drones to target their opponents.
**Regional Breakdown**
In the Sumy region, air strikes were reported in the areas of the settlements of Brusky, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Vorozhba, Yastrubyne, Bilopillya, and Nova Sloboda. Meanwhile, our troops repelled four enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area of Kharkiv direction.
In Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian forces successfully defended against four more enemy attacks near Synkivka, Stepovaya Novoselivka, Novaya Kruglyakivka, and in the direction of Novoosynovoye. In Lymansk direction, the enemy launched 27 attacks, attempting to advance near various settlements.
**Ukrainian Counterattack**
Our defenders have been actively countering Russian aggression across multiple fronts. In Siversk direction, five enemy assault actions were repelled in Bilogorivka and Fedorivka areas. In Kramatorsk direction, six clashes occurred in Chasiv Yar and Kurdyumivka.
In Toretsk direction, the enemy launched nine attacks near Krymske and Toretsk, but were met with fierce resistance from Ukrainian forces. Our defenders stopped 71 assault actions of the aggressor in Pokrovsk direction.
**Ukrainian Defenses Hold Strong**
Despite relentless Russian attacks, our troops continue to hold their ground and repel enemy advances across various sectors. In Novopavlivsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 28 enemy attacks near Rozlyv, Novoselka, and other areas. Our defenders also successfully defended against three enemy assaults in Orikhivsky direction.
**Significant Losses for Russian Aggressors**
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces have inflicted significant losses on Russian invaders, with a reported 1,300 soldiers killed or injured. Additionally, our troops have neutralized four tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 36 artillery systems, one MLRS, an air defense system, and other important enemy assets.
