**Protests Continue Across Georgia**
Today marks the 164th day of protests in Georgia, with rallies scheduled to take place in Tbilisi and several regions. The demonstrations are a response to the current government’s handling of the country’s affairs.
In the capital city, two protest rallies have been planned for today. At 7:00 PM, people will gather in front of the Public Broadcaster, while at 8:00 PM, a larger rally will take place in front of the Parliament building. These events are part of an ongoing effort to bring attention to various issues affecting the country.
The protests are not limited to Tbilisi alone; several regional towns have also scheduled rallies for today. In Gori, citizens will gather at 5:00 PM in front of the City Council, calling for “Free the hostages of the regime and new elections!” In Akhaltsikhe, a protest near the Shota Rustaveli monument is planned for 6:00 PM, with participants expected to chant slogans. Batumi residents are set to gather at 7:00 PM in front of the Constitutional Court, demanding “In service of the homeland!”
Meanwhile, Zugdidi citizens will assemble at 7:00 PM in front of the Regional Administration, criticizing the Russian regime. Similar protests are planned for Telavi and Kutaisi, with participants calling for “Yes to Europe, no to Russia!” and gathered around City Hall. In Chkhorotsku, a protest rally has been scheduled for 8:00 PM, urging people to “Dare to protest every day!”
The continued protests across the country demonstrate the widespread dissatisfaction among Georgian citizens with their government’s policies.
