The Russia-Ukraine war has entered its 1169th day, with both sides engaging in intense combat clashes across various fronts. According to the latest updates from the General Staff of Ukraine, a total of 171 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
**Russian Aggression Intensifies**
The Russian Federation launched four missile strikes using four missiles on Ukrainian positions and settlements, along with 96 air strikes that dropped 187 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they carried out over 6,400 attacks, including 109 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,267 kamikaze drones to strike at various locations.
**Areas Targeted by Russian Strikes**
The areas targeted by Russian air strikes include:
* Donetsk region: Rusyn Yar, Nova Poltavka, Stara Mykolaivka, Myrnograd, Bilytske, Yablunivka, Novoolenivka, Poltavka, Pokrovsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Zorya, Novopavlivka, Novopil, Zelene Pole
* Zaporizhia region: Novodarivka, Temyrivka, Olhivske, Hulyaipole, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Kamianske
* Dnipropetrovsk region: Verbovye

**Ukrainian Defense Forces Respond**
In response to the Russian aggression, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes on 10 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment. They also hit an electronic warfare station, a radar station, four UAV control points, four artillery systems, a control point, and two ammunition depots.
**Frontline Updates**
* Kharkiv direction: Eight clashes took place in the Vovchansk and Vovchanskiye Khutory areas.
* Kupyansk direction: Three attacks by invaders were recorded, with the Defense Forces repelling enemy assault actions in Zagryzove and Petropavlivka.
* Lyman direction: The enemy attacked 21 times, trying to advance in various settlements.
* Kramatorsk direction: Five clashes took place in Kurdyumivka and Chasiv Yar.
* Toretsk direction: Eight attacks were carried out by the enemy.
* Pokrovsky direction: Our defenders stopped 77 attacks of the aggressor.
* Novopavlivske direction: The Defense Forces repelled 23 enemy assaults near various settlements.
**Losses on Both Sides**
The total losses of Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,270 soldiers. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 14 tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 71 artillery systems, 124 operational-tactical UAVs, one missile, and 131 units of automotive equipment of the invaders.

The estimated total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to May 7, 2025, are:
