Serbia is sending firefighting helicopters to help Israel deal with forest fires. The Internal Affairs Ministry announced this on Thursday.
According to the ministry, President Aleksandar Vucic ordered Serbia’s Internal Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic to offer help to Israel. The fires are burning in the area around Jerusalem.
Two powerful Kamov Ka-32 helicopters and one Super Puma H-215 helicopter have been prepared for deployment. They can carry up to 5 tons of water each, which will be crucial in fighting the fires.

This is a kind gesture from Serbia towards Israel during a difficult time. The offer shows that even countries with different backgrounds can work together when needed.
The MUP helicopter unit is ready to move as soon as they receive confirmation from Israel. This shows how quickly Serbia is responding to the crisis.
