Air Serbia, the national carrier of Serbia, has taken delivery of another Embraer E195 aircraft. This is great news for passengers who can expect an enhanced level of comfort and convenience during their journey.
The new plane, registered as YU-ATC, was built in 2014 and previously flown by Aurigny Air Services. It will be entering service quickly and will fly to European cities within Air Serbia’s network. The aircraft has 118 seats and will be joining the airline’s existing fleet of modern planes.
**Fleet Modernization**
Air Serbia’s CEO, Jiri Marek, said in a statement that the airline is continuously modernizing its fleet to provide passengers with a high level of service. Since the beginning of 2022, Air Serbia has strengthened its fleet by adding 18 new aircraft. This move has significantly improved operational efficiency and capacity.
The addition of the second Embraer E195 brings the total number of aircraft in Air Serbia’s fleet to 29. The airline now operates a mix of wide-body Airbus A330-200s, A320-200s, A319-100s, Embraer E-195s, and ATR 72-600 planes.
**A Milestone Achieved**
Just this week, Air Serbia announced that it had flown its millionth passenger for the year, earlier than expected. This achievement is a testament to the airline’s growing popularity and increasing demand for air travel in the region.
The arrival of the new Embraer E195 is a significant development for Air Serbia, and passengers can look forward to even more comfortable and convenient flights in the future.
