The Russian invasion of Ukraine has entered its 1154th day, with both sides continuing to exchange blows. According to the General Staff of Ukraine, yesterday saw a significant escalation in combat activity, with 165 clashes reported across the country.
**Russian Aggression Continues Unabated**
Over the past day, the invaders launched one missile and 137 air strikes on Ukrainian territory, using three missiles and dropping 253 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 2651 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 5832 attacks on Ukrainian troops and settlements, including 122 from multiple launch rocket systems.
**Targets of Russian Aggression**
The aggressor’s air strikes were directed at various Ukrainian cities and towns, including Maryine, Krasnopillya, Vysoke, Malaya Rybytsia, Myropylske, Prokhody, Studenok, Uhroidy in the Sumy region; Oleksandropil, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Muravka, Novodarivka, Dachne in the Donetsk region; and Malynivka, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaki, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnohirsk of the Zaporizhzhia region.
**Ukrainian Forces Hold Ground**
Despite the intense Russian aggression, Ukrainian forces have managed to hold their ground. Over the past day, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck ten areas of enemy concentration, two command posts, and six artillery systems.
**Key Developments by Direction**
* In the Kupyansk direction, two attacks by the occupiers took place during the day, which were successfully repelled by Ukrainian forces.
* In the Lymansk direction, the enemy attacked 25 times, but was unable to advance near various settlements.
* In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops twice in the areas of Verkhnokamyansk and Pereizne.
* In the Kramatorsk direction, four clashes were recorded near Vasyukivka, Chasovy Yar, Markovoy, and Stupochok.
* In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Diliivka, and Shcherbynivka.
**Ukrainian Forces Inflict Significant Losses on Russians**
In total, over the past day, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1,130 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also neutralized four tanks, 19 armored combat vehicles, 26 artillery systems, one air defense system, 118 operational-tactical-level UAVs, and 134 units of automotive equipment.

The estimated total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to April 22, 2025 are as follows:
