**United Group Slams e&Etisalat PPF Telecom Group for Unfair Business Practices**
In a scathing statement, United Group has expressed strong disappointment with the actions of e&Etisalat PPF Telecom Group, the owner of SBB and Yettel in Serbia. The company claims that the group has publicly shared false information about their business dealings, including the sale of Total TV to Telekom Srbija.
**A Clear Case of Misinformation**
According to United Group, PPF acquired SBB in its entirety, which included both the cable network and Total TV. However, after the acquisition, PPF sold Total TV to Telekom Srbija on the same day it took over. The new owner then removed N1 and Nova S channels from the Total TV offering.
**Unprofessional Business Practices**
United Group is at a loss to understand why e&Etisalat PPF Telecom Group chose to act so unprofessionally and unfairly toward N1 and Nova S. Despite having signed an exclusive agreement to make these channels available on Yettel’s cable platform, they have still not been added.
**Technical Support Offered, But Ignored**
The company made a clear offer to provide full technical support to ensure immediate access to N1 and Nova for users, but their offer was ignored. Instead of expanding access to these channels for more viewers across Serbia, the sale of Total TV has had the opposite effect – cutting off N1 and Nova from tens of thousands of households.
**Media Freedom Under Threat**
We are publicly asking whether e&Etisalat PPF Telecom Group is under political pressure from Serbian authorities, or whether there is a secret agreement to suppress viewership of N1 and Nova S. At a time when Serbia is facing a deep political and social crisis, e&Etisalat PPF Telecom Group appears to be complicit in the erosion of media freedom, neglecting its responsibilities to both its users and the public.
**The Truth Will Come Out**
United Group is committed to uncovering the truth behind these unfair business practices. As the situation unfolds, it’s clear that e&Etisalat PPF Telecom Group has a lot to answer for. The people of Serbia deserve transparency and honesty from their service providers. We will continue to follow this story closely and provide updates as more information becomes available.
