**Russia Loses Troops and Equipment in Ukraine**
The Ukrainian military says Russia has lost a lot of troops and equipment since it started its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. According to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Russia has lost:
* 908,890 troops
* A huge number of vehicles, including:
+ 10,438 tanks
+ 21,701 armored fighting vehicles
+ 42,070 other vehicles and fuel tanks
**Russia’s Military Equipment Damaged or Destroyed**
The Ukrainian military also reports that Russia has lost a significant amount of its military equipment. This includes:
* 25,265 artillery systems
* 1,343 multiple launch rocket systems
* 1,118 air defense systems
* 370 airplanes
* 335 helicopters
* 30,926 drones
**Russian Navy Also Affected**
The Russian navy has also suffered significant losses in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has lost:
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
