**Students Demand End to University Blockades**
A group of students and others have set up a camp in front of the Serbian Presidency building. They are calling for an end to blockades at universities, so they can continue their studies.
**But Who Else is There?**
However, not all campers are students. Some people with criminal backgrounds and former members of a disbanded unit called the “Red Berets” have joined in. The Red Berets were previously accused of war crimes.
**Police on High Alert**
The police have set up cordons around the area to prevent any trouble from breaking out. There is concern that camp occupants might provoke clashes with demonstrators.
**Support for Students**
Some groups are supporting the students. Biker groups who have been helping them for months plan to use their motorcycles to create a protective barrier around Parliament to keep people safe. A police veterans’ association has also declared its support for the students and will be present to protect them.
