**Opposition Leader Calls for Nationwide Unity**
Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the opposition party “Strategy Aghmashenebeli”, spoke out before a meeting between Georgia’s president and opposition parties. He said that people want to see unity every day, not just occasionally.
According to Vashadze, Georgia is currently in crisis. The ruling party, “Georgian Dream”, is isolated both within the country and internationally. Vashadze believes that more needs to be done to bring about change. He thinks this means creating a unified headquarters and coordinating actions across the country.
Vashadze said that people want to see true unity. They want to see opposition parties working together every day, not just occasionally. He spoke with people on Rustaveli Avenue and heard their concerns. Everyone wants to see a united Georgia, he said.
