**Ukraine Border Guard Report**
Russia is trying to push Ukrainian forces out of the Kursk region. They are doing this by attacking Ukrainian soldiers in many places at once.
The Russian army is trying to surround Ukrainian forces in Kursk or cut off their supplies. But they are not being successful. Small groups of Russian soldiers, usually 2-3 men, sometimes up to 5, are trying to cross the border and attack deeper into Ukraine.
However, these attacks are being stopped by Ukrainian defense forces. Just yesterday, around 20 Russian soldiers were killed. This was according to Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
