**Serbia and Burundi Get Closer**
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said on Wednesday that Serbia sees Burundi as a “genuinely friendly country”. He made this statement after meeting with the president of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye.
**A Strong Ally**
Vucic said that Burundi has always supported Serbia’s territorial integrity. This means they have never taken part in any initiatives against Serbia. Vucic also praised Burundi for their support on issues like Kosovo and Metohija, and the Srebrenica issue at the UN.
**Cooperation and Unity**
The two presidents discussed various areas of cooperation between their countries. They agreed to have their foreign ministries work together on important regional and global issues. This will help them present a united front in all international organizations and institutions.
**Military-Economic Cooperation**
Vucic mentioned that they also talked about military-economic cooperation. He said that Serbia can provide significant support to Burundi.
**Nine Agreements Signed**
On Wednesday, Serbia and Burundi signed nine agreements and memoranda on cooperation in various fields. These documents were signed in the presence of both presidents.
