**Ukrainian Partisans Claim to Have Sabotaged Railway in Occupied Crimea**
A group called Atesh has claimed to have sabotaged a railway line that connects parts of occupied Crimea with the front line in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The sabotage is said to have disrupted Russian supply lines.
According to a statement posted on social media, the operation aimed to disrupt Russian military logistics. The targeted railway connected occupied Crimea with parts of occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
**Footage Released**
The Atesh group released undated video footage of the alleged sabotage. In the footage, an operative is seen burning down a relay cabinet near the village of Stolbove in occupied Crimea.
**Claim Cannot Be Verified**
The Kyiv Independent could not verify the claims made by the Atesh group. However, the group has been known to commit sabotage attacks on Russian territory and in Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine.
**Previous Sabotage Attacks**
In November 2024, the Atesh group reported a similar action against a railway in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The group regularly targets Russian military logistics and supply lines.
