Drones Attack Russian Town Near Ukraine Border
On March 7, drones struck the town of Starodub in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast. The attack happened overnight and targeted a military food ration factory.
According to local governor Alexander Bogomaz, six drones attacked the industrial facility in Starodub. Seven explosions were heard and a fire broke out in the factory.
The Ukrainian military is believed to have carried out the drone strikes. Ukraine regularly targets Russian military sites on its territory as part of its efforts to weaken Russia’s forces.
Russian Forces Strike Back
In response, Russian forces launched multiple strikes on the town of Dobropillia, damaging at least four apartment buildings.
