Serbian TV Station Fined for Broadcasting Competitor’s Programs
A court in Belgrade has stopped Informer TV from re-broadcasting programs from N1 TV. This is after Informer live-streamed N1’s broadcasts several times without permission.
Informer had shown N1’s coverage of the protests happening across Serbia. These protests have been going on for months.
The Economic Court made it clear that Informer must stop showing or talking about N1 programming in any way. If they don’t obey, they will get fined.
