**Russian Attacks on Ukraine: 8 Dead, 39 Injured**
Over the past day, Russian attacks on Ukraine have killed at least eight people and injured 39 others. The attacks took place in various regions of Ukraine.
**Ukraine Shoots Down Many Drones**
Ukrainian forces have been successful in shooting down many Russian drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, they shot down 68 out of 112 drones that were launched by Russia overnight. The drones included Shahed-type attack drones and ballistic missiles. 43 drones disappeared from radar without causing any damage.
**Hotel Hit in Kryvyi Rih**
In the city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a Russian missile hit a hotel, killing four people and injuring at least 30 others. A child was also injured in the attack. The search and rescue operation is still ongoing.
**Other Attacks**
There were several other attacks by Russia on Ukraine over the past day. In Sumy, one person was killed and another injured due to a drone strike. Two people were injured in Odesa Oblast after a drone attack targeted an energy facility. One person was killed and two others were injured in Donetsk Oblast.
**Regional Attacks**
Russia launched attacks on various regions of Ukraine over the past day. In Kharkiv Oblast, a house and car were set on fire by a drone strike, killing one man and injuring a woman. In Kherson Oblast, one person was killed and four others were injured due to targeted settlements.
