**Salome Zurabishvili Works on Joint Document for Georgia**
Eka Beselia, Chairperson of the House of Justice and representative of President Salome Zurabishvili, spoke about a joint document that will be presented to the citizens of Georgia. According to Beselia, this document is crucial in outlining how elections should be conducted without making any legislative changes.
The document aims to ensure a change in the election administration while keeping the current electoral system intact. Beselia stressed that unity among citizens is key, and everyone must work together towards a common goal – holding new elections and removing the current government, which took power through a corrupt means.
**Uniting Georgia Around a Common Goal**
Beselia emphasized that the name given to any platform within this process is secondary at this moment. What’s essential is mobilizing forces to bring everyone together around the idea of holding new elections and restoring democracy.
President Salome Zurabishvili has been working on uniting everyone around an electoral document and its principles. The process is almost complete, with only the declarative part remaining. This document will focus on how elections should be held, what should happen, and under what conditions we can reach elections.
**Two Scenarios for Holding Elections**
There are two possible scenarios for holding elections in Georgia. In the first scenario, parties agree to call elections and then determine the rules for conducting them. This requires an agreement among all stakeholders, including citizens, activists, politicians, and the president.
In the second scenario, no political agreement is reached, leading to a situation where elections are still called under complete collapse. The Georgian Dream party has chosen this path so far.
**A Joint Document for Georgia’s Citizens**
Eka Beselia reiterated that what Salome Zurabishvili is working on will be a joint document presented to the citizens of Georgia themselves. This emphasizes the importance of unity among citizens in affirming their commitment to democracy and free elections.
