**FBI Director Wants Answers on Ukraine Aid**

Kash Patel, the new director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is calling for an investigation into how US aid money has been used in Ukraine. He wants to know where the money went and if it was used correctly.

Patel says that Americans are owed answers because the money came from taxpayers. He also criticized the scale of aid sent to Ukraine, saying that it’s a lot compared to other countries. “The issue is not about sending a billion dollars, but rather that one country gets 100 times that amount,” he said.

**Questioning Zelensky’s Credibility**

Patel also questioned the credibility of Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky. He referred to a missile incident in Poland where Russia was accused of firing a rocket into Poland, which turned out not to be true. Patel says this shows that there is a lack of transparency and accountability.

**Ukraine Aid Has Been Important**

Despite the controversy, US aid has been vital in supporting Ukrainian programs and initiatives since the start of Russia’s invasion. The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided over $2 billion in humanitarian aid, $5 billion in development assistance, and more than $30 billion in direct budget support.

**Criticisms of USAID**

Patel previously served as a federal prosecutor and held intelligence positions under Trump. His views align with the current administration’s criticisms of Ukraine’s government. He also received money from a pro-Kremlin filmmaker, which has raised questions about his impartiality.
